The Vocational Training Opportunities Scheme (VTOS) is a second chance education and training scheme for adults which provides courses of up to two years duration for jobseekers.  Courses are useful as routes into both further study and employment.

There are a variety of subject areas to choose from including Information Technology, Information Processing, Software Development, Art, Craft & Design, and Business Studies. QQI Level 5 courses are available.

Applications for places will be invited in May/June of each year. Priority will be given to applicants with lower levels of formal education.
